The Neutering of a Father

On Thursday the 7th, 2016 in Brooklyn, NY, a group of young men – thugs really – gang raped an 18 year old woman. As heinous as this crime is, the story itself is much darker. It has been reported that

one of the teens threatened the father with a gun, ordering him to leave. When the father left to get help, that’s when investigators said the teens took turns raping his daughter.

This is the result of gun control. This is what happens when the government takes away your second amendment right. According to the Far Left Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, New York has some of the strictest gun control measures in the nation. The state maintains a database similar to the national one Barak Obama has recently proposed. In addition, it can take up to six months to get a license to even purchase a gun. Storage laws require that firearms are locked away when not in use, and laws require that all firearm sales to be processed through a licensed dealer. One cannot even purchase ammunition without passing a background check! These are but a few examples of the draconian laws which the state of New York has in place, but they did not save this young lady from a lifetime of torture as she will carry this experience with her to her grave.

These thugs, all of whom are under the age of 18, did not obtain a gun purchasing license. They did not purchase the firearm through legal outlets. They did not obey any laws to obtain it. Yet as all criminals do, they came to have possession of a deadly weapon. The father,  in obeying the hellish state laws, did not have a firearm. When he and his daughter were cornered, one of the thugs pointed a gun at his head and told him to leave. Although many of us would debate his decision to do so, it cannot be argued that he was unarmed and not in a position of strength. As he left to get help, his daughter was gang raped by the four teens. When the father finally returned with the police, the men were long gone. As the saying goes, the Police are only minutes away...

In addition to the trauma that this young woman must endure for the rest of her life, her father must live with the shame of not being able to protect her. A father should be trusted as the ultimate guardian, especially when it comes to his daughter. I cannot fathom the horror he must feel at not being able to do the one thing all men are hard wired to do – protect their loved ones.

If this man had been carrying, I guarantee you that he would have at least fought back. Yet these thugs knew he was unarmed. They knew that they had the upper hand. They knew that the father was impotent to protect the apple of his eye.

Guns do not kill people. Guns do not commit crimes. Evil people do. Unfortunately in some situations, the only way to stop those who wish to do you or your loved ones harm is through deadly force. The rabid Left is as much to blame for this young woman's rape as the rapists themselves, for they took away the victims' ability to defend themselves.

At the same time, these rabid Leftists want the United States to import thousands of so called “refugees” from Islamic lands. There are already numerous reports from all over Europe where these wolfs in sheep clothing are causing untold harm to the native citizens. Rapes, thefts, violence, and all other sorts of crime are being committed by these Muslim “refugees.”

Saudi Arabia and other gulf states will not accept the “refugees.” Why not? Because they know that Islamic cells have planted terrorists among them, and that no background check of any kind will reveal who has intentions to cause harm, and who is simply fleeing war. It is also interesting to note that the refugees are not coming solely from Syria, but from all over the Middle-East. They do not come with the intent to assimilate to their new hosts' culture, but to live off the fat of the socialist nations' welfare.

In America, the Left want us disarmed while we are being invaded. The Left wants us neutered to the point where we can no longer protect ourselves or our loved ones. The Left salivates at the thought of the destruction of Western civilization and the dissolution of our beloved nation. It is beyond time that we stand up and shout, “No!” We must disobey – peacefully, all orders by the elites that are contrary to our Constitutional rights. The truth is, those who have the power in this nation surround themselves and their families with armed body guards, and barricade their mansions with brick walls topped with razor wire. They are protected. Their loved ones are protected. Yet they could care less about us. Those who are in power only have the power that we give them. Its time to take that power back. Its time for us to protect ourselves and our families. Its past time to say, “Enough!”

This is the first in a series of videos I'll be researching and posting in regards to Islam. Robert Spencer, Director of Jihad Watch, is a prolific student and author on Islam and until Obama fired him, was an instructor at the FBI for his specialty.  I decided to start off the series with a speech he gave in 2015 concerning the Islamic State.

The Constitutional Right to Bear Arms Shall Not Be Infringed

On Monday, President Barak Obama gave a speech where he stated his intent to restrict access to guns for thousands of Americans. During his talk, he outright lied to present his case. In addition, none of his executive actions would have prevented just one the recent rash of violent attacks this nation has suffered. However, Obama is following his former cabinet member Rham Emanuel's advice to “never let a serious crisis go to waste.” The question that comes to mind is, why? I believe Adolph Hitler gave light to Obama's reasoning when he said, “to conquer a nation, first disarm its citizens.” Our Founding Fathers knew this, which is why the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution reads: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. Lets take a closer examination of the passage.

Merriam-Webster defines a militia as “a group of people who are not part of the armed forces of a country but are trained like soldiers.” Simply put, the idea of a militia was to provide additional forces for the defense of the nation if needed. The concept is that America's populace would be well armed and well trained. If an invader came seeking dominance and destruction, the back bone of the nation would be able to defend her. Our Founders recognized that peace is not always bought at the treaty table. They knew that in some instances, only the bloodshed and sacrifices of brave men would be required to keep the nation free. Just as the police are minutes away, when faced with an armed invader, seconds matter. To wait for help from elsewhere is folly.

“The right of the people to keep and bear Arms”

Everyone is included in the above statement. The Founders did not want the government to decide who should have weapons, and who should be able to carry them and how. Everyone was included – men and women. No where does this statement limit people to just militias. Indeed, for there to be effective militias, everyone needs to have weapons. An unarmed militia is useless. But weapons were intended for more than just military service. They are tools to provide meat for one's family, and the ultimate line for its defense. There was another reason that the Founders wanted all Americans to be armed, and that was for their own freedom.

The Declaration of Independence states in its opening paragraphs the following:

“Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

An unarmed citizenry cannot throw off the bonds of oppression. The Left knows this. The Socialists in power understand and fear those it's attempting to dominate. They witness our anger seething below the surface. Instead of amending their ways and adhering to the laws as defined in the Constitution and instead of following the wishes of those who voted them into office, those in power desire to strip away the populace's ability to defend themselves, resulting in a neutered nation that can be easily controlled.

That is why the ratifiers of the United States Constitution insisted that these rights “shall not be infringed.” Period. According to the Constitution, there should never have been any background checks in the first place. There should have never been any gun registration laws, nor laws stating how those arms could be carried, or when. The Constitution is very clear – those rights shall not be infringed. Unfortunately, they have been, and the Left is coming down hard on them. Indeed, they eagerly wait for the day when no citizen is armed. When that time comes, the America of the past will never again exist. For the Left hates America, and wants to destroy all that she stands for.

President Barak Obama has no Constitutional right to determine who can bear arms, and when. Congress does not have that right. The military does not have that right. It was given to us at the founding of this nation, and the Constitution of the United States of America is very clear – that right shall not be infringed.

Troubled Patriot Update - January 2016

I have taken these past few years off from political commentary. Truth be told, when Barak Obama was reelected President, I felt that all was lost. How could a nation that suffered tyranny for the past four years put the same man back into the highest office of the nation? I felt that no matter what I or anyone else said, the die was cast and writing about the injustices this nation is suffering would be like spitting into the wind. It would just be cast back into my face.

However, I've spent these past years seething inside with anger. I've watched as our rights were progressively trodden upon, and shook my head in amazement as evil was proclaimed to be “good,” and good was cast as “evil.” I said my peace on articles and comments, I've been banned by Facebook and other sites for speaking the truth, but that never stopped me. Yet now, I've come to determine that no matter what may happen, I simply cannot stand by idly as this nation is destroyed by the very ones who are supposed to protect her. I love America. I love her people. I love what America has always stood for, and I will not be quiet. So readers, I'm back, and here I'll remain until death claims me, or some Leftist jails me.
