An exciting event happened last month for this blog. An article I had written concerning the past history of dictatorship with references to the Obama Administration was referenced from World Net Daily and posted on American Daily as well. I wish to thank the editors of both sites for finding that article worthy of posting.
Since then the subscriber base (although still small) has doubled. It is my desire to continue it’s increase. As such, some articles will be submitted to other news sites before being posted here. That may mean a delay of a few days until I am able to post them. As there is “competition” from other experienced writers, I estimate that perhaps only 5-10 percent of the articles I write will be accepted. I will still post the ones which have been refused for your benefit as well as for my peace of mind.
Also, article posting to The Troubled Patriot will probably slow down to perhaps only one or two entries a week. The reason for this being increased research on the subject matter, and a desire for high quality writing.

I know from personal experience that writing is quite a demanding job. I also realize that it is quite difficult to gain recognition. All that I ask is that if it has been posted elsewhere, please include links along with your article for reference.

As some of you have noticed, the postings to this blog have been somewhat sparse during the recent month. The main reason has been a need for a break from the filth and corruption that has infested American society. For a stretch of close to three months, I daily delved myself into soul rending research concerning the socialist/communistic bent of our "political elites." This, combined with a complete lack of understanding that the liberal left has for what liberty truly is, and how their "flock" blindly follows them into destruction has been quite a dampener to my spirits. Truly, daily immersion into filth leaves one's soul wanting for something decent to report. This short vacation is almost over. I will soon return to my commentary on this country, in the hopes that some misguided lamb will "see the light," and turn their misguided love for Polar Bears, floating ice cubes, the Messiah(TM), and pot into something actually worth giving a damn for.

There was no counter protest what so ever, though there was one man driving around in a truck shouting out, “So when is your KKK gathering?” Of course, since we oppose Obama’s socialist agendas, we are labeled as racists. So be it. I know that we are not.
The media in town did its best not to publicize the event, and this past week, we found that our posters had been torn down. So much for the left’s support of free speech! Yet we had a constant gathering of 500 people, and probably had well over 1,000 attend in total. For this town with its limited media support, I count that as a high success!
I had the opportunity to voice my opinion, and in doing so, I read the article I wrote last month, “Freedom’s Call.” I was approached by a few people afterward and was told that it was a good speech. I was humbly touched that my mere words were able to reach out. I do confess that I was rather nervous and probably stumbled over a phrase or two. Public speaking is not a strong point for me.
Many people from all walks of life voiced their opinions over the open mic. Young and old, veteran and non, all showed their frustration with the current Obama administration and the direction our government has gone these past years.
We then marched around city hall and ended up listening to a wonderful speech given by Ralph Lillig. His words were powerful and moving, soliciting loud applause and boo’s when appropriate.
While we were marching, an elderly lady fell down and suffered a cut on her forehead. We helped her back on her feet, and she resolutely took up her banner and marched on. Spontaneous applause erupted. Cars that passed by honked their horns in support.
During that march, a sense of love and pride came over me. I was honored to be a part of this gathering of Patriots. I will not lie when I say that I did indeed wipe a few tears from my eyes.
As you can gather, this was a very emotional day for me. I witnessed an outpouring of patriotism that I had never before experienced. Economic and religious differences were left behind as we all united under one cause. I love my country, and as many others, I will continue in this war for it’s existence as our Founding Fathers envisioned.
Unfortunately, my back seized up near closing, and I was not able to stick around for clean up. I wish that I was able to, but as I write this, I am in extreme pain. Yet this is a meager sacrifice for our freedoms, and I am willing to endure much more.
Thank you Pocatello patriots for your show of solidarity and support. This is only the beginning in our effort to remove draconian government. Endure we must through to the end, yet I know that our cause is just.

The enemy is vast and well entrenched.From youth, our children are raised in government institutions, taught government policy, shown government lies, and brainwashed to see Truth as evil.
From the vast halls of printing presses from New York through Los Angeles, the liberal ideologue of lies spews forth its venom, slaying citizens where they exist – their homes, places of worship or employment.
The bastions of higher education have transformed into breeding grounds of communistic ideologies.Within theses formerly sacred walls, the promoters become enforcers of demonic thought, praising the tyrants of freedom’s cry.
Deeply entrenched within the very wellspring of government policy, the enemies of freedom rule with a fist of iron.With a fanatic determination, they seek to remove every historical vestige of America’s founding principles.These include our nation’s reliance upon God and the Holy Scriptures as this nation’s primary influence, self reliance through hard work and individual achievement, as well as the strong, rugged character that has defined this country since before its inception.
This war will not be easily won, as it is indeed a war that we find ourselves in.The casualties of which have already been felt. The primal element of liberty, the ability to speak out against those who would destroy our very country, has been hampered.
In addition, the proponents of freedom have been marked as un-American terrorists, unworthy of respect.Time and time again, they are informed that they do not speak for the country as a whole, and are instead an “angry mob,” which should be dealt with accordingly.The suppressors of freedom have been advised that when they are hit, they should hit back twice as hard.
As this war progresses, more freedoms will be lost, while the persecution of patriots will increase.Indeed, this is not a conflict for the faint of heart!
Yet this is a war that can, and must be won!Our armory is vast, containing beyond two-hundred years of American history.We have our Constitution, the principles and actions of our Founding Fathers, and above all, our faith in the Divine Creator who formed this nation to be His mouthpiece to the world during the time of the Gentiles.
We must not let ourselves be intimidated by the enemies of freedom.
It is imperative that we instruct our children on the history of this great nation.We must instill within them the same principles our fore-fathers held.We must lead by example as we boldly step forward and refuse to be silenced.
When those in power hold their public meetings, we must continue to appear in force.
We must educate our family, friends and neighbors by engaging in open dialogue.
We must be diligent in our efforts to remove corruption from its seat of power, replacing evil with liberty.
We must be careful to wage this war with facts, not speculations based upon third -hand sources.Before any discussion is engaged, arm yourself with facts then present them in an unthreatening manner.
Unify the Conservative community.If there are dissenters, confront them.Now is not the time for infighting.There is no room in any army for those who would undermine or strive against it.
I will not lie to you.Some of us will end up paying a heavy price in this fight for freedom.You may very well end up being such a martyr.Yet consider how our actions will influence the history of this nation.Will we shirk the duty our fore-fathers placed upon us in the interest of self preservation? Or will we endure to the end, that the descendents of our children may enjoy the freedom which we are so quick to profess a love for?
This war is unlike any other.It is not fought with instruments of death, but with ideas.The blood spilled is our freedom; the cries of agony are the cries of those who love that which this country has always represented.Will you stand idly by, watching others fight the battle for you, or will you consider the importance of our cause and join us?
The Revolution was effected before the war commenced.The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people….This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people was the real American Revolution.
