I Love Texas!

What’s the first thing most people think about when they hear the word, “Texas?” For me, it’s the Alamo. Brave frontiersmen fought an invading army from Mexico to the death so that freedom would be given a chance. They’re doing it again today, being led by Governor Rick Perry.

Texas – the second largest state in the Union with the second largest economy (which is also one of the largest economies in the world) is well known for citizens who won’t put up with bull. They’re fiercely independent; they have to be. They live in a harsh desert environment and bear the brunt of illegal immigration from Mexico. They also have to deal with the wilds of nature considering that they get their fair share of tornadoes and floods.

Yet with all of this going on, or perhaps as a result of it, these people fight fiercely for their rights and freedoms! They know what is truly important – family, country music (well that's debatable), the economy, and most importantly, liberty!

The remaining 49 states of the union needs to follow the example set by Texas. They need to cast aside the chains of bondage placed upon them by government, progressivism, and left wing wackos who’s only desire is to ruin this great country.

Below is a video clip from the Statesman.com which shows Gov. Perry boldly proclaiming the truth. I encourage you to view it. In addition, I encourage you to reach out to your fellow Americans and tell them to “wake up!”
