The longtime White House correspondent who resigned from Hearst newspapers in June in the wake of comments she made about Israel will receive a lifetime achievement award from the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
One wonders why CAIR would give Thomas this achievement. Perhaps it was because
Thomas advised Israeli Jews to "get the hell out of Palestine" and "go home" to Poland, Germany, America and "everywhere else."

That comment proved to be the millstone on her career as she was forced into retirement soon afterward. CAIR itself has been and is currently under the crosshairs of federal investigators as well as independent scholars and researchers who have gone on to show how the organization is anything but a moderate Muslim group.
Indeed, CAIR is an indicted co-conspirator with the Holy Land Foundation terrorist support group. That it deems Thomas worthy of praise and recognition speaks volumes concerning all parties involved.
