Palin - say "Good Bye" to my respect!

To those of you who said that Palin only backed McCain because of a promise made during the 2008 elections, to those of you who said that she will only give her silent support and not actively campaign, take a gander at this:

Palin Joins McCain on the Road - ABC News

Palin is actively campaigning for McCain, and is hitting the road with him. McCain - the most RINO of all Republicans, the co-signer of the unconstitutional McCain-Feingold bill (which was struck down by the highest court of the land), a man who regularly attacked staffers and junior Senators, and a man who usually sides with the Democrats over his own party.

This is a man who refuses to take a stand on the Arizona State law which is to be the toughest legislation to date against illegal immigration.

Does Sen. McCain speak for you? Does Palin's support of him reflect your position? Is this truly what you want?

As I have repeatedly mentioned before, Palin has not once addressed the concerns of many Americans placed before her concerning this. Instead, she has willfully ignored them. From this day forward, I withdraw all support for her. As far as I'm concerned, she is yet one more Republican in Name Only (RINO)

Well...I don't know about all that. But, I think you have come close to hitting one point directly on the head and that is that MOST Politicians have their OWN interest at heart before the American people (the working, Tax Paying American people). You have to also realize that WE are at fault for most of this disregard for the working American because it is US that have NOT held our Representatives to the fire for so long that they have become immune to our scoldings and finger shaking. I think the ONLY way we are going to take back our Country is through internal revolution. And, it does not have to be an armed one. We can do it in other ways. I have some ideas...contact me if you want to know more. DJ

In the past, perhaps. Yet through 2009 and all of 2010, the American public has made its voice heard. Palin, as well as all the others in office, know where Conservative America stands. They also know how the 2008 presidential election was a disaster thanks to McCain.

To prove how Palin is aware of this, think of her rise to prominence. Last year, she said that she would stump for any candidate, regardless of party affiliation, if that person espouses the conservative cause. McCain obviously does not do this, so why has she gone back on her word? Has she forgotten? Unfortunately for her, the American people do not forget as quickly.

I agree that in the past, we have not made our voices heard. but there is absolutely no excuse for Palin's actions in regards to what has happened during the past year.

For her to stump for a politican who has a proven track record of being a RINO and a disgrace to the "conservative cause," not to mention the Republican Party, over J.D. Hayworth, shows that she is simply playing the American public. She uses rhetoric and multiple media appearances, book signings, and her status as the "Darling of the Right," to promote her views. As I have mentioned numerous times before, she has never address the concerns that many Americans have concerning her support for McCain.

I'm sorry, but I'm quite unwilling to let her off the hook so easily. In this case, she really has no excuse. If she had character, even if she had promised to support McCcain since he had her as his VP running mate, she should have announced that she would not support him, or at least stay neutral.

I am quite disgusted with her active support for the RINO in office. I repeat that I will not let her off the hook. She needs to come forward to make amends. If she will not stop stumping for McCain, she needs to give good - solid reasons - why.

In regards to your ideas, you are free to email me them and perhaps we can start up a discussion.
