McCain - the most RINO of all Republicans, the co-signer of the unconstitutional McCain-Feingold bill (which was struck down by the highest court of the land), a man who regularly attacked staffers and junior Senators, and a man who usually sides with the Democrats over his own party.
This is a man who refuses to take a stand on the Arizona State law which is to be the toughest legislation to date against illegal immigration.

Is History Repeating Itself?
In August of 2009, I wrote that "if we are not careful, the socialists in power will use every possible example, no matter how exaggerated it is, to squash our freedom of speech, and perhaps even do more." I then concluded the article by saying "[we] are treading on dangerous ground. We must go into this battle of philosophies with that knowledge firmly entrenched in our minds, and react accordingly.
Fast forward seven months to where we are now - the prediction I made is unfortunately coming to pass. The Social Democrats passed sweeping legislation in the face of opposition from the majority of United States citizens - with no regard for constitutional law. Understandably, Americans are quite upset.

Gutless
Republicans are now returning to their wishy-washy path concerning opposition to the active socialist take over of America. Despite the atrocity committed this past Sunday when the Democrats - to a person - voted for the destruction of American civil liberties, some Republicans are now considering, at least, a partial end to their party's opposition. As the Wall Street Journal reports:
The Obama administration's passage of a sweeping health-care revamp has scrambled Republicans' strategic calculations on Capitol Hill, forcing the GOP to decide whether to maintain its largely unified opposition to Democratic proposals...Republicans have faced challenges in trying to present a unified position on the [financial regulations] bill, given the dicey political prospect of appearing to side with big Wall Street banks.
Facebook Protest Groups Grow
Anger is evident among Americans as Facebook groups are sprouting and growing all over the place. One group called "I bet we can find 1,000,000+ people who disapprove of the Health Care Bill" has, of this writing, grown to over 680,000 in a little over 24 hours. It is increasing by 200-300 members per minute!
Outrage over the Socialist Democrats take over of health care, their insane increases in taxes, their control over student loans, and their overall rampant destruction of American liberties is spreading like wildfire.

Now is the Time for Another Civil Rights Movement
On Sunday, March 21st, 2010, the Social Democrats declared war upon the citizens of The United States of America. With joyous applause, they heralded in the most draconian set of laws this nation has ever seen. Social Democrats throughout the Unites States took to cheering and jeering as the good people of this nation found their rights taken away. War has been declared.
My fellow citizens, now is the time to fight - not with violence, but with resistance. The Social Democrats continuously referred to the Civil Rights movement of the 1960's - well, its time that America takes up that call. Rosa Parks declined to give up her seat; millions of blacks entered in to "whites only" establishments; millions took to the streets in peaceful protest. We must now do the same.
Refuse to follow the laws mandated by this new bill. If you are uninsured, remain so and refuse to pay the $2,000 fine. When the fascists come for you, bring this issue all the way to the Supreme Court. That this current government will continue in its toltalitarian ways must be recognized. Yet we will continue to resist. Do everything in your power to let the establisment know that we are free; we will not submit!
No longer should we reply with timidity or in friendship with those Social Democrats who continue to destroy this nation. Stand firm on our American freedoms and let everyone know that we will not be ruled with an iron fist.
Our year long protest in which millions of Americans raised their voices did not affect those in power. Thus, we must expand those protests to every aspect of American life. In every situation where we find the government's iron fist closing fast, we must resist.
Obama and the Social Democrats plan on passing yet another amnesty bill to grant millions of illegal Mexican immigrants the blessings of American citizenship. They will do so in an attempt to keep themselves in power - thus making our votes meaningless. Do not let this happen! If at all possible, keep the enemies in congress (for they are most assuredly our enemies) from passing such legislation until we are able to vote them out.
My fellow Americans, the Social Democrats now control the banking industry, a huge auto manufacturer and now the health industry. Do not be so naive as to think that the Social Democrats will stop there. It is the Social Democrats' intent to control every aspect - every freedom - of American lives. The Social Democrats will continue to pass more bills to do so. The Social Democrats have already proven that they do not cherish the Constitution. The Social Democrats have no respect for it - of this there can no longer be any question.
Liberty's wail is overflowing the streams, rivers, mountains and plains of America. She raises her voice in trembling pain as the Social Democrats methodically dismember her. She is being torn to pieces, with her blood covering the land. Will you now rise - without hesitation - in her defense, or shall America be drenched by her precious blood - only to have the crows of tyranny drink it while feeding upon her carcass?

Health Care Reform Debate and Vote Process
Stupak and his consortium have now agreed to vote in favor for the health care reform bill after Obama has promised to sign an executive order banning federal funding of abortion and also promising to keep the conscience clause in effect. Just to note - an executive order is not law, so in effect, Obama has made an ineffective promise, which is something quite natural for him.

Every single democrat speaking up during the debate is appealing to an emotional form of persuasion in support of this so-called health care reform bill. The Republicans are appealing to logic and legal reasoning in regards to their opposition. One Republican made a great comment stating, "You'll get your health provision, but it will be from Turbo-Tax!" He was speaking in regards to the massive hiring of employees for the IRS.

Texas is showing strong opposition to the bill. Kevin Brady (R-Texas) made an excellent point showing how Massachusetts is now going bankrupt as a result of their socialized health care.
Lloyd Doggett (D-TX), however, is in support for the bill. Like all Democrats, he claims that the main reason that millions of Americans go bankrupt is due to health care costs.
John Linder (R-GA) asserts that the majority of Americans are happy with their current insurance, and those not insured are still fine (uninsured are still taken care of). Claims that this billis not about health care, but about government.
Mike Thompson (D-CA) portrays insurance companies as the opposition and appeals to emotionalism in his support for the health care reform bill.
Devin Nunes (R-CA) states that the debate is about socialization and that the "ghosts of communism" is being brought into America, which so many had fled.
Mark Schauer (D-MI) states that he stands for those who lost their jobs and can't keep insurance. Yet another emotional appeal.
Patrick Tiberi (R-OH) points out how Medicare will be cut and how debt will be added to future generations. This bill adds people to "a broken system."
Ron Kind (D-WI) alludes to the walk on the moon and equates the health care bill to this - yet another appeal to emotionalism.
Xavier Becerra (D-CA) -Today is a day of history, and that 123 Americans will die today because of lack of health care coverage (I guess they never went to the ER, huh?)
Ginny Brown (R-FL) -Waite shows how the Democrats believe that American's can't be trusted to run their own lives. The bill increases premiums for every American who has insurance. Seniors will loose health care.
Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) accuses Republicans of "fear-mongering" and telling lies. The Clerk then reviewed what he said per request of a Republican to have them stricken as they were challenges as violating House Decorum. The words were stricken.
Geofff Davis (R-KY) is filled with grief due to the Democrats thwarting the will of the American people.
And so the debate goes on.... but it basically follows along those lines.

The debate continues, and the differences are obvious. The Republicans make their stand based upon what's constitutional, what their constituents want, how this will turn America into a socialist nation, and how it will destroy the freedoms of Americans. The Democrats continue to hold to emotionalism, and hold to the so called 32 million people who will now have health care coverage. The Democrats willfully ignore how this legislation will destroy the health insurance industry by demanding they lower rates, cover those with pre-existing conditions, and demand that "children" aged up to 26 (yes, TWENTY SIX) will continue to have coverage under their parent's insurance plans. 26 year old children? So by that line of thought, I assume that we allow our children to go to war, have free sex, drink, vote, etc. What a bunch of bull! The Democrats are showing themselves to be the real enemies of freedom.

At the end of the debate, Pelosi made a grandstanding appearance to a round of applause from the liberal - socialist, left. She was given one minute to speak, but prattled on for 10+ minutes spouting the emotional pleading that represented what all the Democrats used the entire night. Pelosi goes on thanking all her supporters and all the contributors to the "reform bill" as if the bill has already been passed (and of course, it will be).

Voting has begun. The spineless-communist hacks, the Democrats, declined to do a roll call of the vote, instead choosing to vote electronically.
- Vote count concerning the bill which passed last December in the Senate, H.R. 3590: Yea - 219, Nay - 212.
- The motion to recommit the passed health care reform bill with legislation added to prevent federal funding of abortion did not pass.
- Vote count on Reconciliation Bill H.R. 4872 (The legislative changes to the health care bill that will go to the senate voted on there): Yea - 220, Nay - 211.
It is amazing how America, once known as "The Land of the Free," has changed in just little over a year. Reid says that he thinks the bill will pass in the Senate, and considering how previous votes have gone, and how Stupak bent under pressure (and compromised the unborn), I'm quite sure that it will be passed. Thus, it now remains in the hands of the States.
Do and say anything
As the Democrats have decided to drop the unconstitutional "deeming" vote attempt, and will now vote straight up on the health care bill, the political elites and their lap dogs are trying everything else they possibly can do to portray those protesting this atrocity as racist and hate filled.

I cannot say with 100% accuracy, but I do not think that the health care bill will have enough votes to pass tomorrow. However, I do not trust the Democrats at all. If the bill cannot be passed tomorrow, I know that they will look for and use any other means available to them to pass it or something very similar.
Regardless of what happens tomorrow, the war is not over. Indeed, it has only just begun.

Should we impeach?
The very thought of Obama holding the highest office of the land sickens me to no end. He is systematically tearing up the Constitution and throwing it out the window. His cronies led by Pelosi and Reid are showing the American public where their true allegiance resides. Many people are now considering the impeachment of this imposter from Africa. But is that a wise thing to do?
Consider what would happen if Obama is impeached and then convicted. Guess who would get the reigns of power? Yup, Joe "you're mamma's not dead?" Biden. In my opinion, that clown could be just as devistating - if not worse - than B.O. That circus freak has been turning Dan Quail into a scholar, and I shudder to think of what he'd do to this country.
What if we got rid of both Obama and Biden? Well, what if, by the slimmest of margins, Pelosi wins re-election from her rabid and ultra-liberal base? Do we want her running America? The only positive benefit from her holding office is that the stock the company that produces Botox would rise immensely.
No, what we need to do is throw all the socialists bums from both sides of the isles out on their rears and load up congress with true Americans. Then we can let B.O. flounder in office for two more useless years and rejoice when a real president is elected.

The Queen Has No Clothes!

Commonly used or not, I wager that this is the first time that the majority of Americans even became aware of such a "procedure" within the House. Its definitely the first time I have. I don't know which parties used it in the past, but there is no Constitutional support for these "rules." This procedure shouldn't have been used then, it shouldn't be used now. In fact, these "rules" bypass the Constitution completely as no members of the House are directly voting on a bill - yet it is somehow made law. Of course, its a well known fact that the Democrats along with progressives and most liberals do not respect the Constitution, regardless. That is why they continue to insist that it is a "vague" document where current "interpretation" by radical judges supersedes the Founders' intent as described within the Federalist Papers.
Also take a look at Pelosi's statement, "she prefers [the unconstitutional House rule] because it would politically protect lawmakers who are reluctant to publicly support the measure." Her comment proves that the Democrats know this bill is quite unpopular with the American public! No sane liberal can now claim that the "polls mean nothing," and that Americans really do support the proposed health care reform! Any who say so are out right liars.
In addition to this, Pelosi keeps pushing the date for the vote back. She just can't seem to get a solid count of who is in favor of this draconian measure. Yet she is bound and determined to make sure this passes!
Then, of course, Obama comes out and says that "he will not campaign for any Democratic congressmen who fails to support health care reform." However, I don't see how this could create any undue pressure on Democrats as the three Obama has campaigned for lost their electoral battles - they weren't even close! This shows how infatuated Obama is with his own "importance." He either refuses to, or is incapable of, acknowledging how ineffective he really is.
Pelosi is trying to protect her dishonest career as well as the careers of the rest of the corrupt politicians in office. She has used bribery, back room deals, private meetings, and everything else she can thing of to make the Democrat's Communist dream a reality. Pelosi has shown over and over again that nothing is out of bounds when it comes to the socialization of America. To slightly modify an old saying: the "Queen" has no clothes!

What Many Refuse to See
The Tea Party movement in my locale fought a relentless battle against local and national elites. They stood up to the hatred spewed forth by their neighbors and refused to compromise. However, they willingly blinded themselves to a threat greater than Obama, Pelosi and Reid.
There is a friend whom I greatly respect. She's a hard working single mother doing her best to raise her children. She attends school full time, works part time, and tries to spend every available moment with her kids. She is a strong conservative, and holds faith in God. Yet, her and I differ on an issue of extreme importance.
For quite a while, Fox News boldly stood in the gap left wide open by the MSM (Main Stream Media) and attempted to unabashedly stand for the truth. Yet now they have chosen the wrong side in an issue which directly relates to the security of America - and the world as well.
What is the issue of contention which all three above share? Islam. Instead of recognizing that it has always been a Fascist "religion" bent on world domination, they claim instead that it was always based upon peace and only recently has been "hijacked" by radicals. They forget that the word Islam being translated means "submission."

Islam was started by a man who was certainly sane, just as Hitler was. As soon as his followers grew in numbers and strength, Mohammad launched a holy war throughout the region - conquering and slaughtering many. He gave permission for men to have four wives (with himself being allowed more) while he married a child and consummated the relationship when she was only nine years old. As such, child marriage is a huge problem in the Islamic nations, and the problem is growing in England, Canada, and the United States as well. Also, as the spoils of war, he gave permission for his soldiers to take females as slaves and to have their way with them. Since the women were slaves, they would not count against the wifely limit of four.
Mohammad also created the institute of dhimmitude. In practice, it gave non-Muslims living within Islamic controlled territories the option to either convert, or live under domination as second class citizens. In addition, those Dhimmis were required to pay the jizya - basically a blackmail fee. This institution is still in effect today.
Muslims later on sacked and overran Christian controlled Jerusalem, slaughtering everyone within. Many critics will state that the Christians did the same during the Crusades, thus this point is not valid. These same critics will also point out Christian atrocities such as the Inquisition. What they do not realize (or fail to acknowledge) is that the Inquisition was instigated by the Roman Catholic church and, during which, slaughtered many Protestant Christians as well as Jews, athiest, and so-called witches, and that the Crusades was a direct response to the Islamic invasion. That being said, it is a fact that today, every three months, more people are slaughtered by Muslims than those who lost their lives during the entire Inquisition.
As well, Islam has never kept its violent hands to the region of the Middle East. Indeed, its Jihads took Muslims throughout Europe all the way to Spain. Today, we see Muslims wage their Jihads all over the world - China, Russia, the Philippines, Africa, France, The Netherlands, England, and The United States of America are just a few of the places that currently experience Islam's bloody grasp.
Yet Islam's Jihad isn't always of the violent kind. It also seeks to instill its control through peaceful means such as the Islamic block within the United Nations (UN) attempts to ban any criticism of the religion. In addition, England is currently facing the rise of its Muslim citizens as Sharia law is forced down its throat. One needs only to keep a cursory eye on the events happening in that country (as well as most of Europe) for this to be seen.
However, it is happening in the United States as well. CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) is the most vocal of the Muslim "advocacy"groups within this nation. Whenever someone speaks up for the truth of what is happening within Islam, CAIR's lawyers will drag them to court in an attempt to intimidate and silence them. Yet it is (or should be) well known that CAIR is an "Unindicted Co-Conspirator in the terror-finance trial against the Holy Land Foundation and its former officials." As well, "federal law [enforcement believe] that [CAIR is] the product of a Hamas-support network in the United States."
When one examines the special rights given to Islam within a country that says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion," the inconsistencies are amazing. Text books have been written where children are literally taught Islam. Public funds are used to build and maintain foot baths in airports, and are also used to create special prayer rooms in universities and other public institutions. As well, our judicial system has given Muslims the permission to take numerous breaks during their employment so that their daily prayer requirements may be met. The same rights are not extended to any other religion within the United States. Imagine the outcry if the federal government gave the same "concessions" to Christians!
The federal government itself is being corrupted within as many "mid-level" employees have been either harassed or fired due to the influence of Muslims who were "offended" by those employee's firm stand against the Islamization of the United States.
As this is unconstitutional, one might ask why it is done. Simple. It all goes back to organizations such as CAIR along with American citizens' unwillingness to be called "bigots" or "racists." Islam is slowly but surly legislating itself as the "supreme religion" within America by playing on the fears of its citizens.
All of this being said, it is important to recognize that not all Muslims are terrorists bent upon world domination. Take Christians for example. All of us either are or know of Christians who can quote the bible to an extreme extant relevant to any topic. Other Christians know a few verses by heart and attend Church. Yet still some have never read all the bible, never go to church, yet still call themselves Christians. It is the same with Muslims. There are differing degrees within all religions when one considers their followers. What one must acknowledge, however, is that those Muslims who studiously follow their holy book, the Koran, are the ones most apt to commit either terrorism or peaceful jihad. A prime example of this are the many converts to the "religion of peace" who invariably find themselves at odds with the civilized world as they engage upon acts of violence which the Koran encourages. It is a well established fact that those who convert to a religion are usually quite zealous about it.
In closing, it greatly disturbs me when otherwise staunch supporters of freedom make concessions towards a political ideology which hides under the guise of "religion." In reality, its a contradiction of their very beliefs. How can one shout their support for freedom of all, while at the same time embrace an ideology which seeks to limit the freedoms of the entire world? Why do these same people attack those of us who are willing to stand in the gap left open by them and liberals? Why are we vilified while those who strip women of equal rights, enslave others, rape and murder others, and seek to impose their will - all in the name of their religion - are held up as the beacon of "peace?"
When it comes to freedom, are American conservatives simply all "talk," or do they have the chutzpa to make a stand even when it'll make them unpopular? So far, it seems that when the going gets rough, they go running!
There is a friend whom I greatly respect. She's a hard working single mother doing her best to raise her children. She attends school full time, works part time, and tries to spend every available moment with her kids. She is a strong conservative, and holds faith in God. Yet, her and I differ on an issue of extreme importance.
For quite a while, Fox News boldly stood in the gap left wide open by the MSM (Main Stream Media) and attempted to unabashedly stand for the truth. Yet now they have chosen the wrong side in an issue which directly relates to the security of America - and the world as well.
What is the issue of contention which all three above share? Islam. Instead of recognizing that it has always been a Fascist "religion" bent on world domination, they claim instead that it was always based upon peace and only recently has been "hijacked" by radicals. Robert Spencer Speech at RRC High School
This video is about 90 minutes in duration, but well worth viewing. Mr. Spencer goes into great detail enumerating on the truths of Islam. He also spends a good amount of time answering questions from the audience (High school students).
I would ask that you watch all of it and educate yourselves on the truth. Why keep a blind eye to the facts? I also ask that my Libertarian readers view this with an open mind.

If This Isn't Evil...
The Democrats are ready to vote next week on their supposed "Health Care" bill. Stupak, who opposes the bill because of it's mandate for the government to pay for abortions, made some startling comments. He even mentioned a few defectors in his group of 12. He said:
Folks, if this isn't pure, unadulterated evil, then I don't know what is. To the Democrat leadership, children are nothing more than a financial burden on society. Their solution is to kill them off. However, this isn't a new idea. Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood and member of the Eugenics movement had this to say:
Feminist women and Democrats scream for a woman's "right to chose." The say that anyone who oppose abortion is against women's freedom. They lie. It has nothing to do with a woman's "choice," but everything to do with how sacred we as a society hold life to be.
When society gets to the point where it feels justified in slaughtering its most defenseless members - its unborn - that is when said society has lost all moral relevance. In addition, the murder of children is something that God abhors. When the Israelites went into the promised land, they were commanded to exterminate entire civilizations for the plain and simple fact that those societies performed child sacrifices.
I honestly doubt how any Christian who has been truthfully born again could ever accept abortion under any condition.
I tell you this, if this law is passed, and not repealed, I guarantee you that the judgment of God will come down in full upon this country.

I support J.D. Hayworth
I officially place my support behind J.D. Hayworth in his run against long-term incumbent McCain for Senate. Why?

Glenn Beck, I'm Calling You Out
If anyone has been a supporter of Glenn Beck, I would consider myself among the top of those. I enjoyed his previous "no nonsense" stance that he took towards those things which harm America. Yet just like some other political "conservatives" I've called to task recently, Beck has forced my hand in this.
Those of us who take the Constitution seriously also take the issue of Obama's naturalized birth status seriously. McCain was forced to produce evidence that he is a naturalized citizen by birth, but Obama has never done so, not was he ever required to. Yet Beck's response to those of us who want to see the evidence is this:

Yes, Beck has said a lot of things in the past with which I agree. However, these three issues listed above are ones that I feel betray the conservative American cause. Beck either needs to retract these statements or start looking for work with NPR.

The Troubled Patriot Update - March 2010
Its starting to be crunch time for me at college. This week is mid-term week and as such, I've been studying and working hard. As a result, my postings have come even slower, and I apologize for that. However, I am still trying to keep everyone informed.
An article I wrote which was published on American Thinker's blog was actually a paper assignment for my political science class. Of course, I waited on submitting it until after the professor received and graded the paper (100% btw). It was written, though, as a direct response to how the professor and text book are preaching that the Constitution is a "vague document," and how judges are "empowered" to legislate from the bench. Thankfully, my "knack" for writing has allowed me to vent my frustrations in a constructive way.
I've come across a couple issues where I have had to take an unpopular stand amongst my classmates. One of them happened earlier this week in one of my English classes. We were writing a summary on a certain essay that had to deal with a feminist's view of the sexuality of men. Portions of that essay were quite pornographic, in my opinion, and showed erotic pictures of male models. Well, the professor asked my opinion, and I spoke out about how I found the whole thing offensive. The liberals in the class really jumped on me over that, and the professor did his best to change my opinion. However I made it a point to say how I did not see an educational benefit in learning about the sexual practices of any culture.
Also, I find it interesting how the university system itself attempts to define morality beyond the scope of God. I must admit, most of the time I'm chuckling quietly to myself as they do this. They are turning in unending circles trying to justify themselves. Yet in all truth, they simply cannot come to an answer as they have no firm ground to stand upon when it comes to issues of "right and wrong."
Once more I apologize for the lack of postings as compared to my pre-school activity. However, I hope that the majority of what I do post is worth reading!

Pelosi is an Idiot
Earlier this past week, Nancy Pelosi stated that she and the Democrats share some of the same views as those of us who participated in the Tea Parties.
However, in early 2009 she stated that:

Now she's telling her fellow Democrats to stop worrying about keeping their jobs and to pass the health care reform since its "obvious" that Americans want it. Hello? Pelosi? Is anyone home? If Americans really wanted the health care "reform" that you're trying to shove down their throats, then those who vote in favor for it would in no way be risking their jobs!
We need to get this Communist bimbo out of office as soon as possible. I don't think she'd know what common sense was if it hit her upside the head!
